Terms of participation

ČEZ Zadovská 5ka, 1st edition – Saturday 24 October 2026, Churáňov ski stadium, Zadov, Šumava.

This is a translation for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Czech version of these terms prevails.

By entering the Zadovská 5ka, the participant confirms that they:

1. Take part voluntarily and at their own responsibility.
2. Are medically fit for the distance they have chosen and are aware that taking part in a running race means increased physical strain and carries a risk of injury.
3. Have been informed of the nature of the course, which runs on forest and field tracks and may include uneven ground, slippery sections, changing weather and other natural obstacles.
4. Undertake to follow the race rules and the instructions of the organiser, the judges, the medical service and other authorised persons.
5. Are responsible for the condition of their equipment and for their conduct throughout the event.
6. Acknowledge that the organiser is not liable for personal injury, damage to property or other harm arising from the ordinary risks of taking part in a running race, unless it was caused by the organiser breaching their legal obligations.
7. Acknowledge that the organiser is not liable for loss, damage or theft of personal belongings.
8. Agree that during the event the organiser may take photographs, video and other audiovisual material showing them, and may use that material free of charge to document and promote the race, the organiser and the event's partners.
9. Agree to the processing of their personal data to the extent needed to organise the race, keep the results and communicate about the event.
10. Acknowledge that the organiser reserves the right to change the programme, the route or the timetable, or to cancel or interrupt the race for reasons of force majeure, adverse weather or other safety reasons.
11. Have no claim to reimbursement of related costs if the race is cancelled for reasons of force majeure (in particular extreme weather, natural events, decisions of public authorities or other circumstances beyond the organiser's control).
12. For participants under 18, the entry is confirmed by a parent or guardian, who also declares that the minor is medically fit to take part in the race.

Entry fee

Entry fees are non-refundable. Transfer to another runner is free until 17 October, then for a fee of CZK 100. On the day the entry fee is CZK 100 higher and on-site entry is possible only while places last.

Age limits

The half marathon, the relay and the Zadovská desítka are from 18, the Zadovská 5ka from 14. The children's races are run in six waves by year of birth, down to the 2011 cohort. The younger youth, born 2011 and 2012, may – having weighed up their own strength and with written consent from a parent or guardian – start in the main 5 km race in the youth category instead of the children's wave. Participants under 18 need consent from a parent or guardian.

Personal data

We process personal data only to the extent needed to organise the race, publish the results and communicate with participants. We do not pass data to third parties, with the exception of the timing provider and the registration system. Participants have the right to access their data, to have it corrected and to have it erased – just write to info@zadovska5ka.cz.

By submitting an entry the participant confirms that they have read these terms, understood them and agree to them.
